Retreat Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 2026

These Retreat Terms & Conditions apply to every retreat, tour, workshop, or travel experience (“Retreat”) organized by Jennifer Grace LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”). By registering for a Retreat, you agree to these terms. Every participant also signs our Participation Agreement before the Retreat. If anything on this page differs from the signed Participation Agreement, the signed agreement controls.

1. Registration and Payment

  • A $1,500 deposit is required to reserve your spot. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Some Retreats require an interview before registration.
  • Your spot is confirmed once we receive your deposit and signed Participation Agreement.
  • We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and Affirm (subject to approval). Payment plans are available for select Retreats.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

  • More than 60 days before the Retreat: all payments beyond the $1,500 deposit are refunded.
  • Within 60 days of the Retreat: no refunds, for any reason. This includes illness, injury, family emergencies, work conflicts, flight cancellations, passport issues, weather, and government travel restrictions.
  • No refunds for late arrivals, early departures, unused accommodations, missed activities, or leaving the Retreat after it begins.

Our policy is firm because lodging, transportation, and vendors are booked and paid well in advance, and those costs are non-refundable to us. This is why travel insurance is required (Section 4).

3. Itinerary Changes and Force Majeure

We may change, substitute, postpone, or cancel parts of a Retreat when needed for safety, weather, government restrictions, supplier availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. This may include accommodations, transportation, guides, facilitators, excursions, and the daily schedule. No refunds are due for reasonable changes made in good faith.

We are not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, civil unrest, border closures, war, terrorism, airline disruptions, labor strikes, and utility failures. In those cases, refunds are made only to the extent we recover funds from our suppliers.

4. Required Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is required for all participants. At minimum, your policy should include trip cancellation, interruption, and delay coverage, plus emergency medical coverage. We also recommend emergency evacuation, medical repatriation, lost or delayed baggage coverage, and Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage where available.

To decline travel insurance, email info@jennifergrace.com with the subject line “Decline Travel Insurance.” You must sign and return our Travel Insurance Waiver before your spot is confirmed. Not having insurance does not make Jennifer Grace LLC financially responsible for any loss.

5. Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Travel and Retreat participation carry inherent risks, including illness, injury, emotional distress, accidents, theft, property damage, transportation delays, natural disasters, political unrest, terrorism, pandemics, and weather. Participants voluntarily assume these risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release Jennifer Grace LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, volunteers, and affiliates from claims arising from personal injury, illness, or death; loss or damage to property; delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes; and the acts or omissions of airlines, hotels, transportation companies, guides, restaurants, activity providers, and other third-party vendors.

Jennifer Grace LLC acts solely as an independent organizer and coordinator of Retreat services provided by third parties, and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, negligence, or financial failure. The full release is in the signed Participation Agreement.

6. Health and Medical Care

Participants are responsible for making sure they are physically, mentally, and emotionally able to participate, and should consult a physician about any known medical conditions before traveling. Please tell us about any medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, or mobility limitations.

Jennifer Grace LLC does not provide medical care or medical advice. Participants authorize emergency medical care if they cannot consent themselves, and are responsible for all medical costs incurred during the Retreat.

7. Travel Documents

Participants are responsible for a valid passport, visas, vaccinations, and any other documents required to enter the destination country.

8. Conduct

We ask everyone to treat leaders, staff, vendors, fellow participants, and local communities with respect, and to follow local laws and customs. We may remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, abusive, illegal, or unsafe, or jeopardizes the well-being of others. No refund is given in that case.

9. Photography and Media

Photos, video, and audio may be taken during Retreats and used for educational, promotional, website, social media, and marketing purposes without compensation. If you prefer not to be included, notify us in writing before the Retreat.

10. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 18 years old.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. The terms in your signed Participation Agreement apply to your Retreat.
